Biblical Truth: We worship the Lord when we turn from fear and put our full trust in Him. Our confidence in God is a testimony that can strengthen the reliance of those with less faith as well as be a demonstration of faith to those who reject the truth.

The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Biblical Truth: We get to know God better when we put our trust in Him more. The closer we come to God the more we can trust Him when uncertainty is all around us. God will not abandon those who seek and trust in Him.

You, God, are my shield, the protector of everyone whose heart is right.
